The brief
About Ged.
Ged is one of the UK’s leading BtR experts, specialising in the single-family market.
With over 20 years of experience in the UK lettings and property management industry, and as one of the earliest pioneers in BtR, Ged built and scaled Ascend Properties into the largest manager of single-family homes in the UK.
By the time Ged exited the business in 2023, Ascend were managing over 10,000 units across the UK.
...Let’s just say he's a big dog.
What Ged wanted to achieve.
After exiting his business and planning his next career move, Ged came to us ready to re-enter the space with impact.
He wanted to relaunch himself as a recognised expert, rebuild his visibility on LinkedIn, and establish a strong, consistent personal brand that clearly positioned him as a leading voice in the UK BtR and single-family market.
Getting the project off the ground.
We sat down with Ged and did a deep dive into who he is, personally, professionally, and everything in between.
Our personal branding sessions get right to the heart of who someone is, what they stand for, their values, their tone of voice, and how they communicate.
It’s just as important to understand what they don’t say as what they do say, so we can create effective communications that actually sound like them.
What we delivered.
We created a full suite of visual assets for Ged, including art direction, logos, typefaces, and everything he needed to bring his personal brand to life.
We also put together a full content plan covering his brand values, the topics he’d talk about as an expert, and the more everyday, human stuff, which shaped both his personal and professional brand pillars.
On top of that, we built a three-month content plan with 46 pieces of content ready to go.
What happened after the project.
Like many of our personal branding clients, Ged wanted support beyond just creating the brand.
He wanted help bringing the strategy to life, so he appointed us as his brand management agency. That meant we went on to ghostwrite all his LinkedIn posts and ran regular content days to capture fresh photography, videography, and conversations with other experts in the sector.
(And yes… we love working with Ged.)
