How we work

We sure do. Our team has got 20 years of combined experience working with clients and managing teams across the UK, Europe, Africa The Middle East, Asia and Australia. Not only are we used to working across different timezones, but our experience in these markets means we understand the differences between customers across those regions as well. Plus we love a trip... the sunnier and warmer your location, the higher the chances of us working together.

We have two pricing models.

1. Long-term retainers

When we are working with a client long-term, we are able to offer economies of scale on our time, the longer, more frequently we work together, the lower the cost. Retainers are charged on a monthly basis on any project lasting longer than 3 months.

2. One off-projects

Just need help creating a new website, a new brand identity, or LinkedIn training for your team? No problem. As well as working with clients on a long-term basis, we also help brands and businesses who need help with short term, one-off projects.

Although we are an agency, our team have all got experience of working client side within in-house marketing teams. So our aim is never to tread on toes or steel thunder. If you already have an in-house team in place, we will work alongside you as an additional team member, whether you need us to lead from the front, take charge of the strategy, and manage the team, or plug a skillset gap - we've got your covered. We also love working in-person with clients as much as possible, so no matter how we work with your in-house function, we approach everything with a one team mentality.

We love being face-to-face with clients, so always build in time on a regular basis to be in the office with you. It doesn't matter if we are working with you on a short-term project or long-term retainer, we always ensure that we have regular catch-ups and scheduled update meetings with you. On longer-term projects, and where budgets and location allows, we diarise time every week or month or be on the ground, in your office, with your team.

We work with clients who have multi-million-pound budgets, to brand new businesses just starting out with limited funds to spend on their marketing. Spending money on marketing is an investment, and we work with every client on an individual basis to maximise their return. We will always advise you on where your money is best spent, depending on what your objectives are.

Yes we do, but we only outsource to specialists we are partnered with, and that we have worked with long-term. If there is anything in your strategy that has to be outsourced, we will always let you know about it and still manage that aspect of the delivery on your behalf. Examples of some work we outsource includes, web design and development, PPC and SEO.

We specialise in five key areas, strategy, engagement, branding, social media and events. No matter what, all of our services are underpinned with an obsession for ROI and driving tangible results for your bottom line.

Marketing Strategy

When it comes to strategy, we can be as involved as you like. If you just need the strategy creating as a roadmap for your business or internal marketing team to follow, we can do that no problem. Or, if you need help creating and executing the plan, we can do that for you too.

This is one of the most common questions we get and there is no one size fits all answer. How much you should be spending and how much you can afford to be spending are not always the same. If you have huge budgets you will always be able to do more, but if your budgets are small then you need to decide what you want your marketing to achieve e.g. instant enquiries, brand awareness, more website visits, and then plan your activity around what you can afford to do to achieve that. Our team have got experience dealing with very small budgets to multi-million-pound budgets, no matter what, we always aim to maximise your spend for the best results.

We live by the mantra, 'If you aren't measuring, then you aren't marketing. You're gambling'. But, 'how' we measure results is always driven by 'what' we are measuring. First of all we need to understand what your objectives are as a business, and build a plan for how marketing can support those aims. If your strategy is 100% offline activity, then analytics tools are going to be no good to you. Likewise if your strategy is all digital, then only using qualitative feedback from your customers isn't going to give you the data you need to optimise. Just know this, if it can be done, it can be measured.

When we create a marketing plan, we are essentially giving you a roadmap of how you can use marketing to help achieve your objectives. All of our plans are presented across an agreed timeline, detailing the channels and activity you should use, and all associated costs. If your plan requires any asset creation or operational support, we will also include these. Once your plan is done, you can either use it with your internal team, or we can execute it on your behalf.

We can be as involved as you like in the execution of the marketing plan that we create for you. If you just need the roadmap of what to do, then that's fine, we can hand it over to you for your team to execute. If you need help in delivering the plan, then we can also oversee and lead the execution.

Another pair of eyes never did any harm, so if your current strategy is a bit stale, or you're not getting the results you are expecting, then we can do a full audit of your strategy and see where you might be going wrong. Following this review, we will give you advice on any changes, improvements or optimisations you should make in order to achieve your objectives.

A strategy audit is where we look at everything you are currently doing from a marketing perspective, and advise you on where you can make improvements and changes to help achieve your objectives. We take a deep dive into how you're working and look at everything, including your team set-up, your channels, your messaging, your assets and your budgets. We look at it from every angle and then feedback to you with our suggestions.

We have helped clients deliver a range of projects alongside or as part of their current marketing strategy, including; websites, PPC campaigns, app development and asset creation.

Yes, we can. Our team have over 20 years of combined experience building and managing teams in-house and on behalf of clients. If your business is lacking senior marketing support or direction for your team, we are able to offer an outsourced solution at a fraction of the price of having us on payroll. We can do everything a Head of Marketing or Marketing Director can do, including KPI setting, regular 1-1s, briefing, sign-off and general team support.

Yes we can. Creating a new website is so much more than just designing something that looks nice. You need a plan behind it, you need a strategy. We work with you to establish what you want your website to do, how you want people to navigate around it, who in the business the website is for, and what technical requirements you have. If you don't have the time (or just don't want to) we can manage the whole project for you, from the site map, and content structure, to writing the content and managing the design and build process.

Asking if you should be doing SEO is like asking if you should be saving for retirement. The answer is yes, but you need to understand that SEO is a long game. You need to invest long-term to see the best results, but with time, SEO has the potential to make your till ring more than any other channel. If you don't invest in SEO then you are always going to be reliant on 'hand-to-mouth' marketing channels like PPC and Paid Social. These channels have a role to play too, but the best marketing plans are diverse in their activity.

Engagement

Placemaking is the culmination of activity that turns an area, location, building or any physical space into an attractive place for your customers or potential customers to visit. Great for building community and brand value, placemaking allows businesses to immerse customers in their brand.

Community strategy is the process of building a following, loyalty and interactions with your customers. Achieved via a mix of online and offline activity, a strong community strategy allows brands to turn customers into ambassadors and raise awareness. The offline activity within a community strategy also allows for authentic user-generated content to be produced by current customers, which in turn brands can use to promote their products and services to new customers.

Having a CRM system is vital when it comes to storing data about your customers, creating targeted campaigns and marketing effectively. There are lots of CRM systems on the market, and depending on your budget, we will help you find the right one for you. As a rule of thumb, you should be able to store quantifiable data in your CRM system and run reports on various data sets. You should also be able to integrate with off-the-shelf marketing software that will allow you to run email marketing and other campaigns to your database of customers.

There are lots of email marketing tools on the market, depending on your budget, and what CRM system you are using, we will help you find the right solution for you. As a basic requirement, you should be able to create creative emails and have analytics functionality that allows you to see how your campaigns have done, and how you can optimise them.

Social Media

Organic Social is all the activity on any social channel that isn't paid for advertising. Whether you need us to manage your Insta feed, keep your TikTok content fresh, or grow your following, we can help with that. Social Media is one of the most powerful marketing tools for any brand, having a consistent presence on the relevant platform for your audience is a key part of any successful marketing strategy,

LinkedIn is hugely underutilised by business development and sales-focused businesses. Our LinkedIn training teaches employees and those tasked with generating revenue within the business, how to build a strong online profile and a recognisable presence in their industry. As well as teaching the employees what to do, we also work with the business to ensure the overall brand is being presented by all employees consistently and correctly.

When it comes to deciding which Social Media platforms you should be on, you need to first understand two things:

1. Who are you targeting?

2. What do you want them to do?

Like any marketing channel, you should only use the ones that will help you reach your target audience. For example, using TikTok to sell cardigans to 90-year-old ladies is probably not going to return you much.

You also need to understand what Social Media is good for, raising awareness, distributing content, and getting clicks to a website, Social Media does these things really well. Getting someone to part with £250,000 for your product they have never heard of? That might take a bit more than a sponsored ad.

Yes. Our LinkedIn training is designed to help businesses benefit from the power of LinkedIn by teaching their employees how to use it in order to increase sales and be more effective in business development. Our workshops are split across two sessions, the first covering 'why' LinkedIn is such a powerful tool, and how to position yourself on the platform. Whilst the second focuses on 'how' to manage your online profile, be consistent and measure success.

Social Media is just one of several marketing channels available to you, and just because 'everyone uses social media', doesn't necessarily mean you should be on it. Depending on your business, who your customer is, and what it is you are trying to achieve, Social Media might not be the right route to market for you.

Course we can. As well as helping you with your overall Social Media strategy, our in-house content creators can help with photography, videography and creative. We can also create multiple formats of your content, from grid posts to bite-size videos and on-trend reels, we've got you covered.

Social Media marketing is one of the most cost-effective ways of promoting your business, products or services. Due to the nature of the targeting available, you can get great results from as little as a few hundred pounds. As long as your targeting is right, your messaging resonates and you're clear in what you want people to do - Paid Social can be a really cost-effective route to market.

Growing a following on Social Media can feel like a struggle, but with a mix of quality, authentic organic content, that resonates with your audience, alongside paid-for promotion and incentives, you can grow, and maintain a strong following online.

It is really important that your content sounds like it has been written by you, even if they haven't been. We will do a lot of initial work to establish what your tone of voice is, how you speak, and the kind of language you use. All of this ensures that when we write posts on your behalf, they sound just like you.

Yes. As well as creating a full content plan for you, we can also provide ghost writing, creative and engagement support as well.

Branding

Personal branding is the process of creating a strong identity for yourself, built around your values, experiences and expertise, differentiating you from other people in your sector, and helping you build relationships with people who are looking for the services you can provide, or the products you offer. For people looking to build a strong profile within their industry, having a consistent and authentic personal brand is an important tool for business development and sales.

Employer branding is how a business presents itself internally to employees and externally to the outside world. Whether you are trying to attract new talent, align your current employees with your vision, or increase awareness around your business within the sector, employer branding has never been more important. We work with businesses to ensure what they think are, what their employees think they are, and what the outside world thinks they are - all align.

Re-branding is when you refresh or reinvent a brand identity. At the very least this can mean changes and enhancements to the logo, brand colours, brand assets and other visual assets. At the other end of the scale this can mean a whole overhaul of all visual brand elements, as well as changes to tone of voice, values and positioning of the product or service offering.

Branding is the process of creating a set of visual and written assets that form the identity of your business, product or service. Branding is not just a logo, it is how you speak to your audience, the values that you hold, the style of imagery you use and the creative treatment applied to assets. Branding is essential for businesses to stand out and differentiate themselves from competitors.

We help businesses of all sizes create unique, authentic and recognisable brand identities. No matter how big you are, or how long you have been operating, we can help you establish who you are, and how you should present yourself to your target audience.

There is no set price for a branding project. It all depends on what you need, how much research is required for your project and what level of application you require. Once we have understood your needs we will be able to give you a quote. In the past we have worked with budgets from £1,000 up to £20,000.

We cover all areas of event management from start to finish. From creating your event concept or suggesting ways to elevate your brand and take it to the next level, event staffing, decorating, gifting and transforming event spaces, capturing content, hiring entertainment, measuring attendance and more.
