Who are they? City Co-Living are a customer-centric, residential lettings brand, committed to providing 18-30 year olds, with a community lead living experience in buildings that offer high levels of amenity and facilities.
Why did they come to us? As a new business in an incredibly competitive market, the City Co-Living brand had to hit the ground running and stand out against the competition, they needed a strong identity, a community strategy, and a full marketing plan to drive enquiries and secure lets to ensure they opened with 100% occupancy.

The brief

Create the brand identity, generate leads and devise a strategy to build community amongst residents.

Challenges we had to overcome:

  • An existing brand name with no identity created around it
  • Entering the most competitive lettings market in the UK
  • Needed to be created in collaboration with the in-house creative team
  • No strategy to launch the first building in the UK for off-plan lets
  • Needed to establish a sense of community pre and post arrival
  • No understanding of the operational requirement to deliver a brand like this

  • Research into other brands that had disrupted traditional markets
  • Competitor research to see what was working and what wasn’t 
  • Co-ordination of the internal creative & interior design team
  • The creation of brand guidelines for the wider teams to use

  • A 12-month, cross-channel pre-launch lead generation strategy 
  • A full community strategy including weekly, seasonal and headliner events

Working with the co&co team on the mobilisation of the brand, and the pre and post-arrival activation for residents has been fantastic.
